「城市閘誌」以藝術創作記錄口述歷史及地區故事，三年之間，藝術團隊已為六十二道原本冷冰冰的鐵閘度身訂造獨特的畫作，活現出店主個性或小店歷史回憶，讓鐵閘說出社區小故事，留住屬於香港的集體回憶。流動應用程式內置十條導賞路線，利用全球定位系統導航穿梭於六個地區，按圖索驥認識香港歷史及小店故事。輔以擴增實境AR技術，將虛擬作品與真實環境結合，讓你不受店舖營業時間限制隨時欣賞鐵閘畫作，以獨特的角度探索香港。


"HK Urban Canvas" is a community art project that enhances community inclusion and highlights unique aspects of local culture through art and oral history. Launched in 2017, the project has created 62 shopfront shutter artworks in 6 districts to celebrate Hong Kong’s local history and collective memories. The “HK Urban Canvas” mobile app features 6 districts, 10 tour routes, local shop stories and images of all shutter artworks produced since the project started. The app is supported by GPS location that makes it easy to locate check points. It also has an augmented reality (AR) function that allows users to view the artworks any time, even when the shops are open and the shutters are not visible.
