ExoSnow, the first mobile application of the ExoLabs start-up company, lets you explore the current snow cover all around the globe!

The app provides you with recent and seamless snow cover probabilities based on NASA and ESA satellite data.

- The snow cover data is updated every day before 6am GMT
- The map integrates previous observations to better estimate current conditions
- Currently, the results are based on NASAs MODIS Terra and Aqua satellites and therefore offer a spatial resolution of 500 m per pixel
- The high resolution products (20 m) are based on the satellite constellations Landsat and Sentinel 2 (subscription required)
- We use artificial intelligence algorithm to map snow cover over clouded regions

ExoSnow is for everyone interested in current snow cover conditions. These information are vital for outdoor safety (ski tour planning, hiking, biking) and travel, as snow causes havoc on the roads, railways and at airports. ExoLabs provides the highest-quality snow cover product available (20 m resolution, free of cloud gaps, daily updates in near real-time, novel-snow detection algorithms based on machine learning, fully automated and scalable in the cloud).
