If youre ever caught in an avalanche, chances are, you wont know what way is up - which isnt too handy if you plan on digging your way out. You can figure your orientation out by spitting - but were civilised here, we use (more accurate) apps instead.
Avalanche: Orientation finder, uses accelerometer data from your phone to show you what way is up so you can dig to freedom.

Of course, prevention is the best cure, so weve also included features such as information on avalanche warning signs and and Inclinometer- which measures the incline of a slope to calculate the avalanche risk, informing your actions so you can ski, snowboard, and après in confidence.
