"Jigsaw puzzles are educational in many ways. The skills acquired and practiced in completing jigsaw puzzles are a foundational part of successful learning. Doing jigsaw puzzles develops several functions of the brain simultaneously as a child has fun, learns, and develops his/her abilities to reason, deduce, analyze, sequence, and develop logical thought and problem solving skills. Hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness are also required to complete a jigsaw puzzle.

This is an entertaining app for older children, related to the upcoming Christmas holidays. There are 4 options for the number of pieces of puzzles: 5X5, 6X6, 7X7 and 8X8, as well as 40 different pictures to choose from. There is a magnifying glass function to help the player with finding the pieces. Tapping on the magnifying glass presents the player with the picture being worked on. There is also a timer to time the player as the puzzle is being worked on. This can be a good practice for children to figure out how things fit together, and pattern recognition to a certain extent.
